Cookie Policy
How Diligent Law Solicitors uses cookies. We use only strictly necessary cookies; our website analytics are cookieless and do not track you.
Last updated: 20 June 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Diligent Law Solicitors (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to make the site work, to keep it secure, or to collect information about how it is used. Similar technologies (such as local storage) can perform comparable functions.
The law divides cookies into those that are strictly necessary for a service you have requested — which do not require your consent — and all others (such as analytics, advertising and preference cookies), which generally do.
2. Our approach: privacy first
We have deliberately built this website to use as few cookies as possible:
- We do not use any advertising or marketing cookies.
- We do not track you across other websites.
- Our website analytics are cookieless (see section 4).
Because the only cookies we set are strictly necessary, we do not display a cookie-consent banner — none is legally required for the cookies we use.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
To protect our contact form from spam and automated abuse we use Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused security check. This may set a strictly necessary cookie or use similar device storage solely to confirm that you are a genuine human user and to keep the form secure. It is not used to track you or to build a profile, and it is not used for advertising.
These cookies are essential to providing a secure contact service you have asked to use, and so do not require consent.
4. Analytics (cookieless)
To understand how our website is used — for example, how many people visit and which pages are most popular — we use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool.
Umami is cookieless: it sets no cookies, does not store any information that identifies you, and does not track you across other websites. It collects only aggregated, anonymous information (such as page views, approximate country, referring website and device type). We use this only to improve our website and services.
5. Managing cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to block cookies. Because we only use strictly necessary cookies, blocking them may affect the security check on our contact form, but will not otherwise stop the website working.
Guidance on managing cookies is available from your browser provider and from the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we introduce new tools. Any changes will be published on this page with a revised “last updated” date.
7. Contact us
